Register for one, two, or all three EVENTs for HARP DAY. Get your harpist friends and even your harp teacher to participate too. The more people, the better. REGISTER today!


USE ONE REGISTRATION FORM per HARP DAY PARTICIPANT!


To REGISTER for HARP DAY Events send an email request for a SWHD Registration Packet - using the Contact Tab.  After receiving your packet via email, then complete the following steps:


1. Print the HARP DAY Registration Form (Example at Bottom of this Page).


2. Fill it out completely, including needed signatures and doing your math,


3. Pay your Registration Fees by Check (Written according to instructions on the Registration Form),


4. If you are a Harp Competition entrant, you must join the Scottish Harp Society of America.

Print Out and Complete the SHSA Membership Form (Example at Bottom of this Page).

Pay your SHSA Membership Dues by Check (Written according to instruction on the Registration Form), and

5. USPS Mail all your registration items POSTMARKED by April 20, 2017.


NOTEUSPS Posting Registration DUE DATE for HARP DAY is by April 20, 2017.    Please do not mail your registration after that date.  Register On-Site after April 20th.

LATE  REGISTRATION

If you miss the mailing date registration deadline for the "HARP COMPETITION", do an on-site "AT THE DOOR" late registration (with $5.00 late fee) only at 8:30am on MAY 6, 2017.  Do come!


If you miss the mailing date registration deadline for the "TRY OUT THE HARP FOR YOURSELF" WORKSHOP and the "HARP WORKSHOP & HARP CIRCLE", on-site registrations are accepted at times noted on the HARP DAY Schedule at the regular registration fee cost. Do come!

SHSA  MEMBERSHIP

Each contestant in the HARP COMPETITION must be a member of the Scottish Harp Society of America (SHSA). The Harp Day HARP COMPETITION is a SHSA sanctioned event. Your membership allows you to apply your score to another SHSA Harp Competition and to be scored by a SHSA trained, experienced and sanctioned Judge using SHSA approved forms.


Other persons wishing to join the SHSA are also welcome to do so by following these instructions.

LUNCH

NOTE: The hotel does not serve lunch.


All Box Lunch orders must be made by April 20, 2017 (as postmarked by the USPS). Give number of each kind of sub you want to order - for you & those with you.


Advance orders only. NO LUNCH ORDERS TAKEN ON MAY 6, 2017. You can bring your own lunch.


Box Lunch includes: 1/4 Sub (either Tuna, Roast Beef, Turkey or Ham), Apple or Pear, Small Bag of Chips, Cookie, Bottle of Water).

LODGING

For on-site Lodging information, check the Lodging Tab.


WARNING: HARP DAY is the same day as the graduation at the University of Mary Washington.

So if you want to stay in Fredericksburg before or after HARP DAY, make your lodging reservations early.

SCOTTISH HARP SOCIETY OF AMERICA (SHSA) MEMBERSHIP FORM

If you are entering the Harp Competition, please fill out this SHSA Membership Form and include your $18.00 Membership Dues CHECK in the envelope with your registration materials.  Other harpists are welcome to join the SHSA too.
